Doatia has just completed its first day of 12-hour voting. Registered voters made their way to any voting location, mandated to be within 5miles from their home and accessible to public transportation. Each voting location must be home to no more than 500,000 voters. There are over 800 voting locations across Doatia.
With the results in, 58% of eligible voters cast a ballot today, the largest first day of voting in Doatian history. Voter registration was up 180,000 prior to today, same-day registration saw an additional 435,000 increase onto the voter rolls. Due to the historical engagement, it took longer than normal for votes to be counted and registrations to be certified.

Doatia’s Ranked Choice Voting dictates that the party that received the fewest votes in the first round of voting, have their votes removed, and reallocated to each voters 2nd choice.
