Ben Bo Bien, Doi Nam – Massive demonstrations have erupted in Doi Nam, demanding that President Vuong step down and relinquish control to whom they claim to be the real winner of the election. Phantasium. Who for his part has maintained is calls for a new election with greater transparency. The people of Doi Nam, however, have claimed that such an election is unnecessary, and that he won the election.
President Vuong, however, has refused these calls to step down and decried Phantasium and his “international backers” as having organized these protests through “brainwashing.” He has instead deployed the Doinamese Army to maintain security in major cities, and especially in Ben Bo Bien.
In a press release, the President has called on ordinary citizens to resist attempts to destabilize the nation. “These foreign actors and domestic subversives are threatening the stability of our great nation. They claim that I am not the legitimate leader of our country. This is patently false. These traitors and enemies to our country must be resisted, and it is the duty to patriots of our nation to do so. Do not allow these people to bully you into accepting their demands. Resist. Fight back. Defend your nation.”
